Vinge top ranked in 16 practice areas in Legal 500

Vinge has been awarded top ranking in 16 out of 20 categories in Legal 500’s rankings for 2023, which were released on Wednesday.

The annual results of Chambers & Partners’ global ranking have now been made public and we are delighted to find ourselves top ranked in all seven practice areas and a large number of individual rankings. Vinge has been awarded the “Top firm in Sweden” in this year’s World Trademark Review. The award is the guide’s premium award and is based on interviews and reviews of the quality and complexity of legal advice.

Vinge hones its offering within capital requirements and risk management in the financial services sector

In order to further strenghthen its service offering within the Banking & Finance and Regulatory practice area, Vinge has formed a team within the capital requirements and risk management in the financial services sector. Torbjörn Jacobsson, whose background includes, among other things, head of risk in the banking sector, has been recruited to lead the group as a senior specialist in relation to issues concerning financial risks and capital requirements.

Vinge has been awarded “Best Nordic Business Law Firm for Women” at the European Women in Business Law Awards which took place in London on 10 September. For the eighth time, Vinge has won the award as the law firm which has been most successful in relation to its gender equality work.

By mid-year, Vinge has advised in 40 transactions, at a value of MUSD 6.806. On the corresponding Nordic list, Vinge has achieved second place in respect of the number of transactions, and first place in respect of the largest projects in terms of value.
