Vinge wins prestigious IP award

On Thursday evening, Vinge was awarded Swedish Patent Litigation firm of the year at this year's Global IP Awards in London.

"The award recognises Vinge's competitive patent team, which is based on a successful mix of deep and broad knowledge and long and extensive experience of patent litigation. We are very pleased with the award and feel very grateful to our clients for this important recognition", says Håkan Borgenhäll, partner and founder of Vinge's current IP practice area.

Håkan Borgenhäll continues,

"Through Vinge's full-service concept, we also get a competence-enhancing cross-fertilisation. An example of this is our work with patent-driven transactions and contract projects. Other full-service functions such as dispute resolution, competition law and tax law make our patent practice complete. We have the advantage of being able to handle patent cases in several fields, which currently involve, among other things, Standard Essential Patents and FRAND analyses. We are also well equipped to meet the challenges of the UPC, the new patent court, where we have cutting-edge expertise through, among other things, expert assignments in the legislative work. Earlier this year, we received several awards at the Managing IP Awards (Sweden Patent Disputes Firm of the Year, Sweden Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year, Sweden Copyright & Design Firm of the Year and Sweden Practitioner of the Year). Together with today's award, we have confirmation that our work in IP is at the forefront."

The jury's choice is based on client surveys, reviews of submissions and reference interviews where the jury evaluated which firms were considered to have the highest quality of advice. The prize was received by Håkan Borgenhäll and Åsa Hellstadius.
