Vinge tops Mergermarket’s Swedish M&A league tables for the third consecutive year

For the third consecutive year, Vinge tops Mergermarket’s annual league tables of Swedish law firms in M&A, both by number of completed transactions and by total transaction value, in 2025. During the year, Vinge acted on 176 transactions with an aggregate value of just over SEK 355 billion, representing a 45 per cent year-on-year increase.

Vinge Named M&A Legal Advisor of the Year 2025 in Sweden – for the third consecutive year

Vinge has once again been named Sweden’s M&A Legal Advisor of the Year by Mergermarket at the European M&A Awards. This marks the third consecutive year that the firm has received the award, representing the longest consecutive winning streak across all 23 of Mergermarket’s award categories. In total, Vinge has won the award nine times over the past eleven years.

Vinge once again tops Swedish M&A rankings

For the second consecutive year, Vinge has secured the top spot on Mergermarket's annual list of Swedish business law firms, leading both in the number of transactions and total deal value in 2024. With top rankings in both categories two years in a row, Vinge reinforces its position as Sweden’s leading M&A advisor. Over the past year, Vinge was engaged in 169 transactions with a total deal value of SEK 213 billion.

Vinge first within M&A

Vinge has handled both the most and the largest transactions in terms of value during the first half of 2020 according to Mergermarket's half-year statistics. By mid-year, Vinge has advised in 40 transactions, at a value of MUSD 6.806. On the corresponding Nordic list, Vinge has achieved second place in respect of the number of transactions, and first place in respect of the largest projects in terms of value.
