Advokat Anna Edström, advokat Christoffer Thalin and advokat Kristian Ford all of whom work at Vinge’s Malmö office have been elected as partners commencing 1 January 2016.
In the face of stiff competition, Nina Macpherson, Ericsson’s General Counsel has been named Corporate Counsel of the Year. She won the award thanks to her tireless efforts in emphasizing and demonstrating the important role played by corporate counsel in trade and industry.
2013 – the year in which Advokatfirman Vinge celebrated its 30th anniversary – was a successful one for the firm. The year was characterised, overall, by a continuation of the market’s wait-and-see attitude to M&A, but there were clear signs of a revival in stock market confidence.
At an award ceremony held during the Swedish Company Lawyers Association Spring meeting on 3 April 2014, Stefan Backman, general counsel at Tele 2 Sverige AB, received the award Company Lawyer of the Year 2104.
Ulf Dahlgren joins Vinge’s IP Practice Group. Following the recent arrival of Håkan Borgenhäll, one of Sweden’s leading intellectual property lawyers, Vinge now further strengthens its full-service IP Practice Group through the recruitment of tier-1 ranked Ulf Dahlgren.
Vinge’s partners at the Stockholm office have elected Håkan Borgenhäll as a new partner. Borgenhäll is one of Sweden’s foremost lawyers within the field of intellectual property rights (IP rights) and he has extensive experience in various IP proceedings and strategies.
Charlotte Forssander, advokat and partner of Vinge in Gothenburg has been elected by her fellow partners as the new Managing Partner (MP) for Vinge in Gothenburg. Charlotte replaces Olof Jisland who will be returning to normal partner duties following his nine year tenure as MP in Gothenburg.
One of Vinge’s senior partners has been formally confirmed as a judge of the General Court which sits in Luxembourg. He will be the first Swedish attorney to serve as a member of the General Court when he is formally sworn in on 18 March 2013.
