September 11, 2015 About the firm Career

Vinge has appointed Ulrika Åkervall Westin as the new Head of Marketing and Communications. She is currently Head of Communications at Danske Bank Sverige.

Ulrika Åkervall Westin has considerable experience from a number of communications sectors and industries and has worked with developing trademarks, development work, public relations, crisis management and marketing.

During the course of last year she has been the head of communications at Danske Bank Sverige and was communications director at KMPG during the period 2011-2014. Prior thereto she was marketing director at Accor Services during the period 2008-2011.

Ulrika Åkervall Westin has also had leading roles at Bain & Company, Tele 2 and Yahoo and has held the position of marketing manager at the publication, Veckans Affärer.

”We are very happy to have Ulrika Åkervall Westin join us at Vinge. The legal services industry is becoming increasingly exposed to competition and our clients are also becoming increasingly sophisticated buyers of legal services. Transparency and clear communication in respect of the services that we provide are very important elements in the creation of the confidence which is a prerequisite for a successful co-operation. Ulrika is a person with experience from industries which are similar to our business, but also from completely different industries,” says Charlotte Forssander, a member of Vinge’s Managing Partner group.

”I am looking forward to calling upon my experience from trade mark development, communications, marketing and events at Vinge. The legal services industry is dynamic and subject to change and it is going to be exciting to be part of, and contribute to, Vinge’s future development,” says Ulrika Åkervall Westin.

Ulrika will take up her position this autumn and she replaces Anna Rasin, who joined Coop as head of internal communications earlier this spring.
