Vinge best at gender diversity for the third time

Vinge has been awarded the European Women in Business Law – Sweden 2015 for the third time. Vinge received the award for its gender diversity initiative within the legal profession.  Vinge also received the award in 2011 and 2014.

The European Women in Business Law Awards were awarded for the fifth time at an event arranged by Euromoney Legal Media Group and International Financial Law Review. The awards were given to law firms and individuals based on surveys and nominations.

“It really does feel like recognition for our proactive efforts in trying to have more female partners and for a greater degree of gender diversity both within the legal profession and within Vinge” says Maria–Pia Hope, Vinge’s Managing Partner.

Vinge’s Managing Partner Maria-Pia Hope was in London to receive the award on 18 June 2015 together with Christina Kokko, Sofia Olsson and Carolina Dackö.
 
Vinge was the only Swedish law firm which was nominated in the categories ”Best national firm for woman in business law”, ”Best gender diversity initiative by national firm”, “Best national firm for work-life balance” and “Best national firm for pro bono work”.
 
Maria-Pia Hope was nominated in the individual category “Best in capital markets: debt”. In addition, partner and advokat Christina Kokko was nominated in the category “Best in M&A.”
