Åsa Hellstadius advises clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters in intellectual property law. She is specialised in patent law and has notable experience in international and national patent disputes within the areas of inter alia biotech, pharmaceuticals and mechanical engineering. Åsa has also specific knowledge in marketing law with a focus on unfair commercial practices, e.g. price communication as well as solid knowledge within Life Sciences and ethics.
Åsa has a strong academic background being a Doctor of Laws and associate professor in intellectual property. She is former Program Director of the Master Programme in European Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University and Co-founder of the international review Stockholm Intellectual Property Law Review.
Åsa is author of several books and articles within the field of intellectual property and marketing law. She has many years of research and teaching experience, and is a frequent lecturer within the field.
