Vinge has advised CDPQ in connection with an investment in Northvolt

November 21, 2023 Employment and Benefits M&A Intellectual Property EU, Competition and Regulatory

Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) have invested USD 150 million in Northvolt by of a convertible debt instrument. The financing will be used to realize the new site Northvolt Six in Québec. When the battery factory is completed, it will have an annual production capacity of up to 60 GWh.

Vinge’s team consisted primarily of Christina Kokko, Maria Dahlin Kolvik, Desirée Hagenfeldt, Stina Bengtsson, Eskil Nyström, Jolene Reimerson, Malin Malm Waerme, Arvid Axelryd, Helena Göransson, Kamyar Najmi, Sam Fakhraie Ardekani and Julia Löfqvist.
