Vinge advises NEWS, a portfolio company of Litorina, in connection with the sale of Skandinavisk Kommunalteknik, FANN VA-Teknik and Alunda Polyeten to Wienerberger AG

Vinge advises Northern Environmental and Water Solutions AB (“NEWS”), a portfolio company of Litorina, in connection with the sale of the operating subsidiaries Skandinavisk Kommunalteknik, FANN VA-Teknik and Alunda Polyeten to Wienerberger AG (Vienna Stock Exchange: WIE). The transaction is expected to be completed in Q2 2026.

NEWS offers a complete range of sewage solutions outside the gravity-based municipal system through its subsidiaries, including SKT, which was founded in the late 1970s and is the market leader in pressure-based sewage solutions in the Nordic region. SKT is headquartered in Sweden and also operates in Norway, Finland and Denmark. FANN, founded in 1990, focuses on individual wastewater solutions based primarily on passive wastewater treatment technology and operates mainly in Sweden, Finland and Norway. Alunda Polyeten offers customised manufacturing of products for SKT and FANN.

Vinge’s team consisted mainly of Jonas Johansson, Linus Adolfsson, Alva Thörn and Viktor Ejlertsson (M&A), Josefine Edström, Josefine Lanker and Gabriel Chabo (Banking & Finance), Simon Gille-Johnson (Real Estate), Axel Lennartsson (IP), and Simon Söderholm (Employment & Benefits).
