Vinge advises Platzer on a combined asset swap transaction with the Port of Gothenburg concerning properties in Arendal

Vinge has advised Platzer on a combined asset swap transaction with the Port of Gothenburg comprising the sale of the property Arendal 1:28, parts of the properties Arendal 1:29 and Arendal 1:31, and the acquisition of part of the property Arendal 764:291.

The properties being divested by Platzer comprise land, water and buildings totalling 61,000 sq. m. of office space. As part of the combined asset swap transaction, Platzer is also divesting 22,000 sq. m. of logistics building rights and acquiring a fully let logistics building of 24,000 sq. m. from the Port of Gothenburg.

Both entry into possession and vacation of the properties are subject to a decision by Gothenburg City Council and are expected to take place no earlier than in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Vinge’s team primarily consists of Olof Jisland, Kristoffer Larson, Simon Gille-Johnson and Wilma Hellman.

Vinge has acted as legal adviser to the sellers in connection with Bonnier Books’ acquisition of Nextory, one of Europe’s leading streaming services for audiobooks and e-books. Bonnier Books is acquiring all shares in Nextory, and the transaction comprises Nextory’s operations in Sweden and internationally. The acquisition is a cash transaction and the parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
