Vinge advises Crompton Greaves in connection with the acquisition of Emotron

Vinge has advised Crompton Greaves Ltd in connection with its acquisition of Emotron from Polaris Private Equity. The company's purchase price amounted to EUR 57 800 000. Crompton Greaves is an Indian listed technology company and Emotron manufactures drive systems for electricity driven engines. Crompton Greaves' s acquisition of Emotron is subject to the approval of the German Competition Authority.

Vinge's team advising Crompton Greaves Ltd consisted of partner Magnus Hedsund together with, among others, associates Kristian Ford and Karin Engström. Vinge has advised Hansa Biopharma AB (publ) in connection with a directed share issue, through which Hansa raises gross proceeds of approx. SEK 232 million, and restructuring of debt financing. As part of such debt restructuring, Hansa has in conjunction with the directed share issue set-off debt corresponding to approximately USD 14.9 million of its total debt amount.
