Vinge advises Crompton Greaves in connection with the acquisition of Emotron

Vinge has advised Crompton Greaves Ltd in connection with its acquisition of Emotron from Polaris Private Equity. The company's purchase price amounted to EUR 57 800 000. Crompton Greaves is an Indian listed technology company and Emotron manufactures drive systems for electricity driven engines. Crompton Greaves' s acquisition of Emotron is subject to the approval of the German Competition Authority.

Vinge's team advising Crompton Greaves Ltd consisted of partner Magnus Hedsund together with, among others, associates Kristian Ford and Karin Engström. Vinge has advised the leading infrastructure group Eleda in connection with its parallel acquisitions of Rail Solutions Scandinavia (railway maintenance), Gridtec (engineering consultancy in electric power), Quantity Surveying Konsult Stockholm (cost control and project management), Voene (traffic safety), Vägservice centralen i Norden and Frästech (road and bridge maintenance). The acquired businesses had a strong profitability with a combined turnover of approximately 200 MSEK in 2024.
