Vinge has advised Resurs in connection with its strategic partnership with Kustom

Vinge has advised Resurs in connection with its strategic partnership with Kustom (formerly Klarna Checkout), a fast-growing player in the digital commerce sector. The partnership enables Resurs to accelerate its strategic development by offering a check-out solution to its merchants, built on Kustom’s market-leading infrastructure.

The partnership marks a strategic step for Resurs in its ambition to become the market-leading omnichannel provider for merchants seeking to offer smart financing solutions to both consumers and businesses. The partnership also entails Resurs making an investment in Kustom and with Resurs CEO, Magnus Fredin, joining Kustom’s board of directors. The transaction is expected to be completed in April, after which the parties will begin their collaboration on joint product integration.

Vinge’s team primarily consisted of Christina Kokko, Fredrik Eriksson Oppliger, and Nicolina Lavdas (M&A), Mathilda Persson and Siri Blomberg (Commercial Agreements, IT, and GDPR), Caroline Krassén and Elias Bohlin (Financial Services), Alva Skott (IP), and Victor Ericsson.
