May 25, 2022 M&A

Vinge advises the founders in connection with Altor Fund V’s investment in the Swedish founded international music group Audiowell. The founders will remain shareholders and continue in their current roles in the development of the group. In connection with the transaction, Audiowell and Altor have partnered up together with the leading music producer Martin Sandberg (a.k.a. Max Martin). Altor and Max Martin will support the founders and the group on its continued growth journey.

The founders - Andreas Romdhane and Josef Svedlund - launched Audiowell with the mission to increase the quality of lifestyle music by dedicating time, resources and partnering up with talented creators. Both founders have worked for more than 20 years as music producers and songwriters, scoring several number-one singles in UK, and working with artists such as Westlife, Kelly Clarkson, Diana Ross and Il Divo to name a few. The group has a music studio complex in Stockholm from where it supports over 100 music creators spanning from the US to Hong Kong and South America, focusing on a broad range of genres such as jazz, relaxation, acoustic, dance, rock and classical.

Vinge’s team consisted mainly of Jonas Johansson, Maria Dahlin Kolvik, Carl Fredrik Wachtmeister and Linnea Petersson (M&A) as well as Viktoria Owetz Leyva and Ellinor Gyllenhammar (VDR Specialists).
