Vinge has advised a syndicate of Nordic and Northern European banks connection with the financing of Verdane and Telenor’s new partnership relating to Telenor Connexion. Under the partnership, Verdane and Telenor will jointly invest in Telenor Connexion, a leading provider of IoT solutions. The transaction was completed on 10 September 2026 and values Telenor Connexion at SEK 7.5 billion.
Telenor Connexion provides IoT connectivity and managed services to large international customers and operates globally, with 31 million IoT SIM cards in operation and services delivered in more than 200 countries.
Vinge’s team primarily consisted of Albert Wållgren, Kamyar Najmi, William Carlberg Johansson, Jakob Rehnström and Pontus Tegström.
