Vinge advises Smart Eye Aktiebolag (publ) on its first SEK 300 million bond issue

Vinge has advised Smart Eye Aktiebolag (publ) (“Smart Eye”) on the company’s first issue of senior unsecured bonds in an aggregate principal amount of SEK 300 million, under a framework of up to SEK 600 million. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) acted as sole bookrunner in connection with the bond issue.

Smart Eye is a Swedish technology company within Human Insight AI, a technology that understands, supports, and predicts human behavior in complex environments. Smart Eye’s technology is integrated into next-generation vehicles and delivers insights across, among others, the automotive, aviation, and space industries.

The bonds have a floating interest of 3M STIBOR + 700 basis points and have a tenor of three-years. In accordance with the terms and conditions of the bonds, the proceeds from the issuance of the bonds will be used to (i) refinance existing indebtedness and (ii) finance general corporate purposes (including transaction costs and acquisitions). Smart Eye intends to apply for the bonds to be admitted to trading on Nasdaq Stockholm’s corporate bond list within 12 months from the issue date and on Nasdaq Transfer Market within 30 days.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Malte Månson is an independent service and repair provider for commercial vehicles and operates a network of 28 service workshop locations across Sweden, authorized by brands such as MAN, DAF, IVECO, Mercedes-Benz, Setra, VDL and EVO. Malte Månson has an annual revenue of SEK 800 million and employs over 300 full-time professionals.
