Mandate Vinge advises DOLBY on the acquisition of Coding Technologies

Vinge advises the American company DOLBY (one of the world’s leading companies within sound systems) on the acquisition of Coding Technologies AB for a price of appr. 1.6 billion kronor.

DOLBY was represented by Peter Morawetz, Ulrich Ziche, Mats Hävermark and Anna-Sofia Nilsson-Prevell with respect to all acquisition agreements.
The due diligence work was carried out by Jessica Olofsson (who was also the coordinator of the due diligence), Kristoffer Nordman, Anna Elm, Per Westman, Martina Engström, Fredrik von der Esch, Peter Alstergren, Johanna Rutberg and Petter Elmstedt. Dain Nevonen worked on a number of corporate issues.

Road transport performed by Samskip Sia in Sweden has been confirmed to be within the framework of a permitted combined transport through a decision of the Administrative court of Falun in Sweden. The central question in the case was how to interpret the term “nearest suitable railway station”
