Vinge has advised Gunnebo in connection with its divestment of Gunnebo Entrance Control AB to ASSA Abloy.
Gunnebo is a global leader in security solutions, offering innovative products and services that protect and control the flow of people through its two separate business units, Gunnebo Entrance Control and Gunnebo Safe Storage. The divestment of Gunnebo Entrance Control AB marks an important milestone in Gunnebo’s strategic development, and following completion of the transaction, Gunnebo will focus exclusively on Gunnebo Safe Storage. ASSA Abloy is a global leader in access solutions, and through the acquisition of Gunnebo Entrance Control AB, the plan is to strengthen ASSA Abloy’s position in the market by complementing its core business with additional products and solutions, with Gunnebo Entrance Control AB becoming part of ASSA Abloy’s Entrance Systems division.
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
