Vinge has contributed to the Swedish chapter on banking regulation for The Banking Regulation Review

Vinge’s specialists within financial services Fredrik Wilkens and Henrik Schön have written the Swedish chapter on banking regulation for The Banking Regulation Review, part of The Law Reviews. The chapter provides high-level insight across the Swedish legal and regulatory requirements applicable to banks, including issues such as prudential regulation, rules governing the conduct of business and covers the most important developments within the sector of banking regulation and seeks to facilitate various actors’ navigation within the complex banking regulatory environment.

Vinge is awarded Sweden Law Firm of the Year 2023 by Chambers & Partners

The award, Chambers Europe Award for Excellence – Sweden Law Firm of the Year 2023, is one of the foremost awards a Swedish law firm can be awarded. Vinge has previously received the award on five occasions, most recently in 2021.

Vinge top ranked in 16 practice areas in Legal 500

Vinge has been awarded top ranking in 16 out of 20 categories in Legal 500’s rankings for 2023, which were released on Wednesday.

New partners and counsel appointed at Vinge’s Malmö and Stockholm offices

Advokat Daniel Daun and advokat Victor Ericsson at Vinge’s Malmö and Stockholm offices respectively have been appointed as new partners as of 1 January 2023. Jacob Jeanrond, Caroline Krassén, Henrik Schön, Maria Dahlin Kolvik, Sara Strandberg and Linn Adelwald have been elected as counsel at Vinge’s Stockholm office.

Vinge hones its offering within capital requirements and risk management in the financial services sector

In order to further strenghthen its service offering within the Banking & Finance and Regulatory practice area, Vinge has formed a team within the capital requirements and risk management in the financial services sector. Torbjörn Jacobsson, whose background includes, among other things, head of risk in the banking sector, has been recruited to lead the group as a senior specialist in relation to issues concerning financial risks and capital requirements.
