Vinge represents GD Invest AB in connection with the sale of 85% of the shares in the data distribution company Gandalf Distribution AB to ELKO Grupa AS, based in Latvia.

Gandalf Distribution is one of the Nordic countries' leading distributors of computerproducts and peripherals and had a turnover of SEK 674 million during the financial year 2016/2017. ELKO Grupa AS is active in the same field in Europe and Central Asia and had a turnover of USD 1.460 million during 2016. The acquisition means that ELKO Grupa AS enters the Nordic market.

Vinge's team consisted of partner Jesper Ottergren and associate Kristoffer Franzkeit.

Guidance judgment on the criminal liability for ordering a cabotage transport

The ordering of a road transport made by one of the largest freight forwarders in Sweden has been considered in accordance with the conditions for legal cabotage transports through a decision from the Court of Appeal over Skåne and Blekinge. The Court of Appeal, thus, changes the District Court’s judgment and acquits the freight forwarder. The central issue in the case was how the number of cabotage transports should be calculated.
