Mandate Vinge advises Petropar S.A. in connection with the acquisition of Fiberweb plc´s hygiene business

Vinge has alongside Clifford Chance LLP, advised Petropar S.A. in connection with the acquisition of Fiberweb plc’s hygiene business. The consideration amounts to USD 286 million.  The acquisition is conditional upon approval of  the shareholders in Petropar S.A. and the shareholders in Fiberweb plc. The transaction is expected to close at the end of 2011.

Clarification of the interpretation of ”nearest suitable railway station”

Road transport performed by Samskip Sia in Sweden has been confirmed to be within the framework of a permitted combined transport through a decision of the Administrative court of Falun in Sweden. The central question in the case was how to interpret the term “nearest suitable railway station”
