Vinge advises Consolid Equity in connection with the establishment of Petra Group

Vinge has advised Consolid Equity Investment AB ("Consolid Equity") on the acquisition of Ström & Gulliksson, one of the leading patent agencies in the Nordics. The acquisition forms part of the establishment of Petra Group, a European platform aimed at consolidating patent agencies across Europe to combine expertise and resources primarily within patents and trademarks. Consolid acts as a strategic partner in the new group.

In addition to Ström & Gulliksson, Petra Group also comprises the Dutch patent agencies De Vries & Metman, Knijff Trademark Attorneys and V.O. Patents & Trademarks. The platform has been established with the ambition of creating, through further acquisitions, a leading European player in intellectual property services.

Vinge’s team consisted mainly of Johanna Wiberg, Desirée Hagenfeldt, Carl Fredrik Wachtmeister, Johanna Barfoed, Chris Bastholm, Olivia Altheden, Anna Neubüser (M&A), Henrik Ossborn, Nilufer Nouri (Banking & Finance), Siri Blomberg (Corporate Commercial), Hanna Kövamees (Real property), Emma Gustavsson (IPR) and Caroline Löv (Transaction coordinator).

Vinge has successfully advised Montrose by Carnegie AB in connection with its application to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority for authorisation to conduct securities business. The authorisation was granted by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority on 2 July 2026.
