MTG New Media acquires Playahead AB

MTG New Media has signed an agreement to acquire 90% of the shares in Playahead AB, which runs the internet community Playahead (www.playahead.se), for SEK 102 million in cash. Playahead has more than 530,000 members and is Sweden's second largest online community. Playahead also launched sites in Denmark, Norway and Great Britain in 2006.

Vinge acted as an advisor to the sellers, the company's founders Leif Carlsson and Jonas Frost. Representatives from Vinge included Peter Abrahamsson, Karin Ebbinghaus and Lina Bergquist.

Vinge advises EQT on its EUR 890 million sale of Dellner Couplers to Wabtec

Vinge together with Milbank advises the EQT VIII fund (“EQT”) on its sale of Dellner Couplers (“Dellner”), a leading provider of train connection systems for passenger rail, to Wabtec Corporation (a fortune 500 company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, NYSE: WAB). The transaction values Dellner at approximately EUR 890 million. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
