Mandate EQT V acquires Scandic Hotels AB from Hilton Hotels Corporation

Scandic Hotels has 132 hotels located in nine countries across northern Europe and employs around 5,700 people. Total sales for 2006 were approximately SEK 6 billion. The acquisition is subject to the approval of requisite competition authorities.
