EQT V acquires Scandic Hotels AB from Hilton Hotels Corporation

Scandic Hotels has 132 hotels located in nine countries across northern Europe and employs around 5,700 people. Total sales for 2006 were approximately SEK 6 billion. The acquisition is subject to the approval of requisite competition authorities.

Vinge was adviser to EQT, and represented by Fredrik von Baumgarten, Malin Ohlin Åkermark, Björn Gustavsson, Thomas Sjöberg, Patrick Forslund, Tuula Tallavaara, Paula Röttorp, Anders Frick, Anna Möller,Jessica Olofsson, Emma Olsson, Sofia Graflund and Louis De Geer.
