In October 2012, Håkan was appointed by the Minister for Justice to assist as an expert in the Swedish governmental investigation regarding the European Unitary Patent System as well as drafting a new Patent Act.
Håkan is a member of CCBE’s expert group regarding the European Patent Court. He is also an expert in the government enquiry regarding certain changes to the Swedish Copyright Act and has been appointed by the Swedish Bar Association to respond to legislative proposals within intellectual property law, most recently in respect of the Supplementary Protection Certificate for Medicinal Products (SPC), Standard Essential Patents (SEP), and compulsory licences to patents. Håkan is also a member of the Swedish Patent Attorneys Board.
