Ulrika Bengtsson and Tobias Fleischer have authored the Swedish chapter in this year’s edition of Chambers Tax Controversy 2025: A Chambers Global Practice Guide.
The guide contains the latest information on Swedish legal developments in the field of tax procedure and tax controversy. It provides an overview of, among other things, administrative proceedings, court proceedings, tax audits, cross-border tax disputes, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as MAP and APA, and enables readers to navigate the extensive Swedish regulations in this area.
Particular focus is given to current areas of dispute such as carried interest, transfer pricing and double taxation.
Ulrika Bengtsson:
"We are pleased that Chambers now also has a country guide for tax controversy, and we are naturally proud to contribute the Swedish chapter. Hopefully, the guide will be of assistance to those working in other jurisdictions who encounter the Swedish Tax Agency in one way or another."
