Vinge advises on the sale of Memira

Vinge has advised Patricia Industries AB, part of Investor AB, and other shareholders in Memira Holding AB in connection with the sale of the company to the Dutch company Bergman Clinics BV.

With 47 clinics, Memira is the Nordic Region’s leading chain providing sight correction operations and one of the leading actors in the world in relation to change of lenses.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

Vinge’s team primarily consisted of Johan Winnerblad, Kristina Ekberg, Karl Klackenberg, Martin Cronsioe, Milad Kamali, Daniel Wendelsson, Maria Schultzberg, Henrik Wastensson and Sofie Sundin.

The acquisition forms part of the establishment of Petra Group, a European platform aimed at consolidating patent agencies across Europe to combine expertise and resources primarily within patents and trademarks.
