Sigma acquires Kudos

Sigma is completing the acquisition of four European subsidiaries of Kudos Information Limited together with 25% of the operations in the USA. The acquired businesses in Finland, Hungary, France and Germany have sales of approximately SEK 90 million and employ roughly 170 consultants in Europe. The purchase sum amounted to approximately EUR 6 million.

Vinge acted as an advisor to Sigma during the acquisition and the representatives from Vinge included Jesper Ottergren and Johanna Lindman, to the extent that competition issues were involved.

BAE Systems is a world-leading defence group with a presence in Sweden through, among others, BAE Systems Bofors in Karlskoga, a supplier of weapon systems, artillery and ammunition. The acquisition is strategically motivated and aims to strengthen the Swedish defence industry's production capacity.
