Memira acquires EyeCenter and StureOptikern

Vinge has advised Memira in conjunction with the acquisition of Stockholm EyeCenter, Täby EyeCenter and StureOptikern.

Memira conducts the Nordic Region’s leading chain within sight correction operations and is one of the leading actors in the world in relation to lens replacement operations. 

The EyeCenter companies have eye centres on Norrlandsgatan in Stockholm City and in Täby. StureOptikern is Stockholm’s premium boutique for eye fashion.

Vinge’s team primarily consisted of Johan Winnerblad, Anna Thoms, Vilhelm Rondahl, Ulf Nilsson and Andreas Lexhag.

Vinge, together with O’Melveny as lead counsel and Avance, worked with funds advised by Agilitas Private Equity LLP (“Agilitas”), the pan-European mid-market private equity firm, in their backing of Vivicta. The buy-out was previously announced on 24 March 2025 and closed on 2 September 2025.
