Success for Vinge in Client Choice, Legal 500 Hall of Fame and Chambers Global

As Vinge’s partner SOC (the Swedish Olympic Committee) gathers trophies in South Korea we are delighted to have achieved a triple of awards and rankings demanding legal excellence.

Silvia Pavlica Dahlberg, partner at the Gothenburg office, has received the 2018 Client Choice Award from ILO / Lexology for Sweden in the category litigation. The nominees are appointed by legal counsels, and this year's edition of the award received over 2500 nominations. Since 2005, Client Choice has recognized law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. Congratulations also to Fredrik Dahl, Employment & Benefits, Thomas Sjöberg, Environmental Law, Håkan Borgenhäll, Intellectual Property, Carl Johan af Petersens, IT, Telecommunications and Outsourcing, Fredrik Vinge, Maritime & Transport Law and Mattias Schömer, Corporate Tax, who have been selected for the Legal 500 Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame highlights individuals who have received constant praise by their clients for continued excellence.

The Chambers Global ranking has recently been published in its 2018 version. Vinge remains in leading positions with M&A, Capital Markets and Public M&A, Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property, ranked in Tier 1 and Banking and Finance in Tier 2.

Vinge – Best law firm for female business lawyers

For the sixth time – and the fifth time in a row – Vinge won the award as the law firm in Sweden which has been most successful in relation to its gender equality initiatives. The award was presented on 14 June in London at the European Women in Business Law Awards. In addition, three of Vinge’s partners were also named as IFLR1000 Women Leaders.
