New counsel appointed

Vinge has appointed Helena Brännvall and Ulrika Bengtsson as counsel.

Helena Brännvall has worked at Vinge since 2007 and specializes in dispute resolution. She has worked on domestic civil proceedings as well as in Swedish and international arbitration within a range of business sectors. Helena has also been a court clerk at the Södertörn District Court and has been seconded at GE Real Estate and Scania CV AB, where she worked as in‑house counsel.

”We are very happy to appoint Helena Brännvall as Counsel. She has considerable experience of commercial dispute resolution and has worked on some of Vinge’s largest and most complex disputes. Due to her work as in‑house counsel, she also possesses detailed knowledge of contract law and various standard agreements. We are continuing to grow within the Dispute Resolution Practice Group and Helena’s role as Counsel is an important part of the Group’s growth.”

Says James Hope, head of Vinge’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Ulrika Bengtsson has a strong background with almost 30 years’ experience of legal work primarily in relation to tax issues and tax proceedings. Ulrika has been working at Vinge since the spring of 2018 and joined the firm from Deloitte where she was responsible for, among other things, their tax litigation group. Prior thereto Ulrika worked as a specialist at the Swedish Tax Agency’s legal department as well as at business law firms and the courts. She specializes in tax litigation procedure, tax proceedings and tax supplements.

Ulrika advises Vinge’s clients in relation to extensive and complex tax proceedings regarding primarily Swedish and international corporate taxation.

Ulrika also works toward improving legal security in relation to tax issues and is a board member of the Institute for Taxes and Legal Security. Ulrika writes articles concerning tax proceedings and is regularly engaged as a speaker in a tax law context.
