Vinge advises Byggmax in connection with its application for listing on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm

Vinge is advising Byggmax Group AB in connection with the company’s application for listing on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. The expected first day of trading is 2 June 2010. Carnegie Investment bank AB and ABG Sundal Collier AB are Joint Book Runners in the offering. Vinge is also advising on the refinancing of the company. Byggmax operates in the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish DIY-market, offering basic building materials primarily to individual consumers who undertake general repairs, maintenance and home improvement projects.

Vinge’s team primarily consists of Rikard Stenberg, Henrik Clipii Fritz and Johan Thiman as well as Maria Schultzberg with respect to tax issues. As regards the refinancing aspect of the transaction, Vinge’s team primarily consists of Bo Adrianzon and Johan Steen.

Vinge has advised Stockholm Exergi in connection with the conclusion of a permanent carbon removal agreement with Microsoft, covering 3.33 million tonnes of permanent carbon removals from bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) at Värtan, Stockholm. The agreement is the world’s largest permanent carbon removal deal to date.
