Anders Leissner has worked at a leading maritime insurance company for more than 20 years, which has given him broad and practical experience within international trade, risk management, as well as governance and compliance issues. Anders has particular experience in relation to sanction issues, which include both risk assessments, contract issues and hands-on management of incidents in co‑operation with Swedish and foreign public authorities. Anders is regularly retained as speaker and has also appeared in Swedish media as sanctions expert . He has also been retained as sanctions expert in legal proceedings.  In January 2021, the Swedish government appointed Anders as chairman of the War Risk Insurance Board, which is an authority whose purpose is to ensure insurance capacity for transport to and from Sweden in the event of war.
